Shaffer Films Churns Out Three Literary Projects
Tami and Dan of Shaffer Films have been setting their keyboards ablaze over the past few months, as they've worked together to co-author two novel manuscripts and to compile an anthology collection of Tami's most prolific essays and poems based on what initially appeared on her popular blog site that has reached over tens of thousands of readers to date.
With the working title of "Life Through an Original Lens," Tami's writings tackle some of today's most critical issues, ranging from the very broad - such as war, government, politics, and education - to the very personal - such as dating, marriage, and God with a very unique view. Deftly weaving together humor, real-life heartbreaks, her experiences in life, and modern-day parables; Tami strives to relate the true human experience
The novel "New Arcadia" vividly depicts the plight of a family trying to stay untouched in a time of increasing global disturbances on every front. The day comes when the utopia they have created is shattered. The youngest son sets out to fight for his home in the midst of a rising Hero that the world is embracing and placing their hopes in to lead them out of the turmoil. His journey begins as he seeks a judge that may be able to help his family out of their dilemma. As he goes he is led to a cast of characters that will lead him into an undeniable truth that will forever change his life and destiny.
The other novel "Smoldering Flask" is aimed at an older set of readers and deals with a battle between an angel and a demon over one man a gifted prodigal's mind who has a divinely-destined, critical part to play in end-time events.
Both novels are meant to provide readers with glimpses into the supernatural world in an unusual and creative way.

Based on a Profound Dream, Shaffer Films Prepares to Shoot Short Film: "The Teacher and the Apprentice"
Shaffer Films is currently gearing up to shoot a short film based on an allegorical dream Tami received which both vividly and profoundly. One of Shaffer Films' foremost goal is to break traditional mindsets in a positive and pioneering format and this will be a great opportunity for the company to forge ahead in that vein.
Tami was overwhelmed when she found a location just outside of Elverson, PA - a 19th century farmhouse that appears just the way the house in her dream appeared, both inside and out!?! After getting over the intial shock of such a discovery, Tami further found that the house was owned by the founder of a local youth activities program called Action Impact. After being told Tami's dream, the founder said he would be honored to allow Shaffer Films to use the property to share Tami's dream and the significance of its meaning with others across the silver screen.
So, the pre-production process has begun as Tami and Dan began casting the roles of the 4 male characters who are in the story. Meanwhile, they are searching for the most appropriate props and wardrobe and are conducting camera tests for the visual effects shots needed to re-create the surrealistic elements experienced in the dream.
It is an exciting undertaking as Tami prepares for her film directorial debut with Dan filling the roles of director of photography and editor.
Watch for updates here on the News page as we get closer and closer to the shoot date!
