On August 11, 2009, the independent action film entitled "Safehouse" was released worldwide on DVD by Artist View Entertainment in association with Skyrocket Productions.

After several weeks of editing, Dan delivered a final cut to Spencer and his production team at Skyrocket Productions by the spring of 2008. In August of that year, Skyrocket held a premiere screening of "Safehouse" at the American Film Institute in Silver Spring, MD.
Dan is honored to having had the opportunity to work on the project and is hoping to further collaborate with Skyrocket Productions on future projects.
Shaffer Films Produces a Series of Stand-Out Commercials and Highlight Spots for ABC WHTM 27's Highly
Anticipated Telecasts of "High School Basketball Live" for the 2nd Year in a Row
In case you weren't aware, most of us Pennsylvanians can't get enough basketball excitement to keep our blood boiling during our state's long, blistery winter nights. So, throughout the winters of 2009-2010 and 2010-2011, Shaffer Films teamed up with ABC Ch. 27 and former pro basketball player, Charlie Fortney, to provide footage for a weekly telecast showcasing some of Pennsylvania's most renowned high school basketball rivalries.
Early in the winter, Dan and Tami along with right-hand grip Zach Adams, shot a slew of innovative commercials for program sponsors. With many of the commercial voice overs performed by Tami as well as Tami's brother - professional actor and voice artist Gary Pinchot, Shaffer Films used its growing roster of talent to the fullest.
Aside from providing a majority of the telecast commercial content, starting in late 2010 Shaffer Films fully produced a series of comprehensive interviews with the doctors representing one of the show's top sponsors entitled "Up Close and Personal with Arlington Orthopedics." Each week, one of the doctors appeared during halftime and post-game shows to discuss major orthopedic injuries that can occur both on and off the athletic field. In addition, each week Shaffer Films cut student athlete spotlights for one of the program's other major sponsors to focus on top players featured in the game of that week.
Shaffer Films has done its part to heat up the small screen in Pennsylvania the last two winters; even as the snow just kept on piling up on our doorsteps.
